1979 Chevy Camaro Dragster Print E-mail
Here is our 79 Camaro Dragster

This little camaro is a current project that is is being improved upon currently, It previously featured the GM LS1 engine. We have decided to go back to its roots and stick with a Gen 1 small block chevy motor and a very popular one at that. Our poweplant in this Camaro is the Gen 1 5.7L or 350 that we bored .30 and stroked to create a 383. It features a lunati rotating assembly, a custom grind cam (our little seceret we wont tell), 7.5" connecting rods with dome top pistons (13:1 compression) a set of RHS ported/polished heads that will flow some air(another of our secerets), all chrmoly push rods and hydrolic flat tappet lifters, and other quality race valvetrain products. The car is currently under construction itself the paint and interior are being completley redone in charcoal black and charcoal metallic grey rally stripes. The interior will match the exterior with a few suddle differences. The woman who owns this car is far from your average girly girl, but does enjoy a little pink so such items as the stitching in the seats will boast small ammounts of pink as well as the shifter handle B&M logo will be painted pink (B&M is a registered trademark company we do not endorce this as a sold item) the kicker in this car is the headrest, they will be custom embroidered with MOMMAS' TOY! in pink stitching. This same slogan will be painted on the rear spoiler of the vehicle. This is a project a long time in the making and has been going on for quite some time now with design changes and idea chenges ect... you can look for this car this summer in the rocky mountain region of colorado.
